Regarding the incident in which a parent posted on social media about their child being slapped by a teacher at Tuoi Tho Kindergarten (Long Truong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) during a meal, and the school remaining silent in disciplining the teacher, the People's Committee of Long Truong Ward has just released the latest information.

Accordingly, after parents shared the incident on social media on the evening of September 16, on September 17, Tuoi Tho Kindergarten sent a report about the teacher's violations to the ward.
According to Tuoi Tho Kindergarten, after the incident, the school suspended Ms. TVTNh (the teacher who slapped the child) from work from August 3.
On September 12, after many meetings, the school's Disciplinary Council decided to discipline with a reprimand.
Along with this disciplinary measure, Ms. N.'s salary increase was delayed for 3 months, she was suspended from teaching for 1 year, and was assigned other tasks by the principal.
Regarding the fact that the school has not yet held a meeting to announce disciplinary action against Ms. Nh., Principal of Tuoi Tho Kindergarten Nguyen Thi Thu Trang explained that Ms. Nh. is currently on sick leave.
According to Ms. TVTNh.’s report, at lunchtime on August 1, baby NL did not want to eat, pushed the rice bowl away and vomited. Ms. N. changed the rice bowl for the baby twice.
When she saw the baby still vomiting, she angrily slapped the baby in the face and then, according to her explanation, "the baby ate all the rice."
“When she saw a red mark on the baby’s cheek, she applied ice. In the afternoon, when the baby’s grandfather came to pick her up, she accidentally did not tell him,” Ms. Nh. wrote in her report.
As Dan Tri reported, on the night of September 16, on her personal page, Ms. TT, in Long Truong ward, Ho Chi Minh City, shared information that her daughter in the Choi class (4 years old) was abused by a preschool teacher, along with a photo of the child's cheek showing a clear handprint.
When they learned that their child had been slapped by teacher TVT during mealtime on August 1, the family took the child to the doctor and was diagnosed with soft tissue injury on the left cheek, with large bruises and swelling due to a hand strike on the cheek. In addition, the child was also psychologically frightened, cried a lot, and was afraid to go to school.
According to Ms. T., at first, she did not dare to talk about being beaten by her teacher. Only when her family asked and the doctor encouraged her did she tell them that she and some other classmates were beaten by Ms. Nh.
When Ms. T.'s family reacted, the school and Ms. Nh. said that Ms. Nh. would proactively resign, hoping that the parents would withdraw their complaint about the incident. At that time, the school also sent Ms. T. a resignation letter from Ms. Nh.

Ms. T. was reassured to let her child go back to school when she learned that Ms. Nh. was still working at the school. Seeing Ms. Nh., her daughter was scared and refused to go to school.
After that, Ms. T. let her child take a break from school, waiting for the school's handling of the matter, but did not receive an answer about how to discipline Ms. N. from the school.
"More than 1.5 months have passed since the incident happened, and I have not seen any action from the school in dealing with the teacher who abused the child, so I decided to share the incident on social media," Ms. TT confided.
