The suspect in the shooting in Khanh Hoa is living as husband and wife with the victim's daughter.
Regarding the shooting incident at night in Ninh Hoa Town (Khanh Hoa), at noon on July 29, the leader of the People's Committee of Ninh Hiep Ward (Ninh Hoa Town) said that the two father and son who were shot were Mr. Dinh Phuong D. (52 years old, residing in residential group 7, Ninh Hiep Ward) and his son Do Thanh A. (26 years old, taking his mother's last name). Of these, Mr. D. was seriously injured and was transferred to Ho Chi Minh City for emergency treatment.

The suspect in the shooting is Phan Thanh Dung (29 years old, resident of residential group 6, Ninh Hiep Ward). Dung lives with Mr. Dinh Phuong D.'s daughter but has not registered their marriage. Due to a conflict with Mr. D.'s family, Dung brought a gun to Mr. D.'s house to resolve the matter.
At around 10 p.m. on July 28, while Mr. D. was sitting and talking with some relatives, Dung arrived on a motorbike and fired several shots at Mr. D. and Mr. A.
As a result, Mr. D. was shot in the head and back of the neck, and Mr. A. suffered a wound in the chest. After the incident, local people coordinated to arrest Dung.
At the scene of the shooting, police seized 1 F90 Cal.9mm pistol, 1 shell casing, 1 ammunition box. The case is currently under investigation.
