Binh Dinh will open the summer tourism festival on June 13.

(GLO)- In 2025, Binh Dinh aims to welcome over 10 million visitors, an increase of 8.7% over the previous year. The opening event of the 2025 summer tourism festival, which will be held on June 13, is an "acceleration" step in the province's journey to achieve the above goal.

As planned, the opening ceremony will take place at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City) with the participation of about 500 delegates, including leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Tourism Administration, and tourism businesses inside and outside the province.

The program is organized to promote the introduction and promotion of cultural values, history, resources and tourism products, and Binh Dinh tourism brand to domestic and international friends, thereby stimulating tourism demand, attracting tourists, and contributing to the development of Binh Dinh tourism.

In recent times, along with traditional tourism products, Binh Dinh has also been focusing on developing new tourism products such as sea tourism, railway tourism, night tourism and community tourism - targeting young, dynamic and adventurous tourists.

In addition, Binh Dinh province also invests heavily in infrastructure, products and people, aiming to build Binh Dinh tourism brand to become the leading destination in the Central region and the whole country. Not only exploiting the landscape, but also focusing on the depth of culture, history and local identity.

This year, Binh Dinh organized events to welcome the first flights and trains of the year; welcomed nearly 1,000 tourists from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang City to visit by charter trains/carriages (renting the entire trip, entire train car) to transport tourists for free to visit Dat Vo; organized a series of cultural, sports, and tourism activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Binh Dinh Province Liberation Day (March 31, 1975 - March 31, 2025), the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and International Labor Day May 1, leaving many beautiful impressions in the hearts of tourists.
