Vu Thu: Donating funds to build charity houses

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and Vu Thu district presented certificates of merit to individuals who have made positive contributions to the Red Cross movement in Vu Thu district.

At the program, the district Red Cross Association awarded funding to support house building for 3 households in difficult circumstances, each with 60 million VND; provided regular sponsorship for 20 humanitarian addresses with a total value of more than 61 million VND; awarded 111 scholarships from the VietnamEducation Development Fund (EDF) with a total value of 83 million VND to poor students. The Association also presented 424 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to poor households in the district.

On this occasion, the Red Cross Society of Vu Thu district awarded 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in the "Million steps of kindness" campaign in 2025, and at the same time awarded 2 groups and 13 individuals with positive contributions to the Red Cross movement of Vu Thu district in the period 2021 - 2025.
