Specifically, on the evening of November 22, MKM (6 months old, residing in Drang Phok village) showed signs of severe pain, difficulty breathing and crying. The family said that MKM had a history of adrenal gland tumor, was in poor health and had been hospitalized at the Central Highlands General Hospital.

Upon receiving information from the family and the Military-Civilian Medical Station combined with the Se Re Pok Border Guard Station, the local authorities immediately coordinated with units and forces to mobilize specialized canoes to approach Drang Phok hamlet, which was isolated by floodwaters.
After an effort to cross the Serepok River by canoe, the authorities were able to bring the child and his family safely out of the flooded area. M. has now been transferred to the Central Highlands General Hospital for emergency treatment.

Previously, due to the influence of water from hydroelectric plants, the water level of the Serepok River rose, causing local flooding and traffic disruption in many places, of which Drang Phok village was the most severely isolated area.
Up to now, flood water levels in the border commune of Buon Don continue to rise, seriously affecting the lives of people in Tri, Don, Ea Mar and Drang Phok villages.
