At noon on November 17, Mr. Quang Thuc Doan - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Phuoc commune said that to proactively respond to local heavy rains, flash floods, inundation, and landslides, from 5:00 a.m. this morning, the commune's forces organized the evacuation of 94 households with 291 people out of vulnerable areas and local flooding; at the same time, mobilized households in low-lying areas to proactively move their assets and livestock to higher areas.

Commune forces are on duty at the culverts, ready to rescue when necessary.

As of 11:00 a.m., there were no casualties, property or structures in Ninh Phuoc commune; vulnerable areas and local flooding are being closely monitored and people are being encouraged to evacuate to safe places. Ninh Phuoc commune People's Committee continues to organize 24/7 on-duty, closely monitor weather developments to focus on directing and responding promptly when situations arise. The commune's police and military forces are stationed at overflow culverts, deep flooded areas, and landslide-prone areas, ensuring security and order, and being ready to rescue when necessary.
