Van Ho commune focuses on improving the business environment, creating momentum to attract investment and sustainable development.

(sonla.gov.vn) In recent times, Van Ho commune has focused on synchronously implementing many specific solutions, from administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, to supporting businesses and attracting investment. Thanks to that, the investment and business environment in the area has been constantly improved, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.

Implementing Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated January 8, 2025 of the Government on key tasks and solutions to improve the business environment and enhance national competitiveness. Van Ho Commune People's Committee has thoroughly grasped and widely deployed Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP and the Action Plan of Son La Provincial People's Committee to all cadres, civil servants and public employees. The Commune People's Committee has directed specialized agencies under the Commune People's Committee to proactively develop their own programs and implementation plans with specific targets and tasks, focusing on areas of promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation in handling administrative procedures to reduce travel time for businesses; building a team of professional cadres, civil servants and public employees with capacity and qualities to meet the requirements of tasks and the development of the commune.

Administrative reform has been vigorously implemented, taking the satisfaction of people and organizations as a measure. Up to now, the commune has implemented 387 administrative procedures publicly and transparently; received and processed records through the "one-stop" and "one-stop" mechanisms. During the year, the total number of records received reached 417, of which 92% were submitted online. The rate of records resolved before the deadline reached over 97%, showing the clear effectiveness of administrative reform in saving time and costs for people and businesses.

Along with that, Van Ho commune promotes the application of information technology and digital transformation in operations and management. 100% of businesses in the area have used electronic invoices, declared and paid taxes online. The commune People's Committee organizes online training courses for officials and civil servants; applies digital platforms such as OneTouch, electronic document management system and online operating groups to improve the effectiveness of direction and operation.

In 2025, Van Ho commune recorded 02 newly established enterprises, bringing the total number of operating enterprises to 63 units with a total charter capital of over 500 billion VND. In addition, the locality actively supports individual business households to convert into cooperatives, apply VietGAP production processes, contributing to the formation of sustainable agricultural value chains.

The Commune People's Committee also proactively coordinated with departments and branches to remove obstacles for businesses, especially in the fields of tax and investment procedures. Many cooperatives that had stopped operating were reviewed and proposed to be dissolved in accordance with regulations, ensuring a transparent and healthy business environment.

Van Ho commune promotes investment attraction, infrastructure development and green economy. In 2025, Van Ho commune will have 25 investment projects approved with a total capital of nearly 3,000 billion VND. Many large-scale projects are being implemented such as: Compensation and resettlement support project on the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway, Van Ho Central Bus Station Project, Van Ho Ecological Urban Area Project... The rapid and proper progress of projects has contributed significantly to creating a new face for the locality, opening up potential for tourism, trade and service development. Along with that, the commune promotes the publicity of planning and land use plans, introduces potential investment locations, and strengthens dialogue with businesses and investors to promptly resolve difficulties. Key projects on infrastructure, transportation, electricity and water are being implemented synchronously, creating favorable conditions for investors to access business opportunities in the locality.

Van Ho Commune People's Committee determined that economic development associated with digital transformation, green transformation and innovation is an inevitable direction. 100% of small and medium enterprises in the area have applied digital platforms in internal administration, accounting, human resource management and e-commerce transactions. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the management and operation system has initially brought positive results, helping to improve productivity and service quality.

In the coming time, Van Ho commune will continue to promote propaganda, raise awareness about improving the investment and business environment, maintain regular meetings between leaders and businesses, increase support for startups and innovation, and aim to build a serving, dynamic government that focuses on people and businesses.
