DNVN - From 3:00 p.m. on March 21, all types of gasoline and oil prices increased simultaneously. In particular, each liter of gasoline increased by more than 700 VND/liter, RON 95 III gasoline exceeded 24,000 VND/liter.
During the operating period on March 21, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to set aside the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) for fuel oil at VND300/kg, not to set aside BOG for gasoline, diesel and kerosene. At the same time, BOG will not be used for all petroleum products.
Accordingly, E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND730/liter compared to the current retail price to VND23,220/liter, RON 95 III gasoline increased by VND740/liter to the new price of VND24,290/liter.
From 3:00 p.m. on March 21, each liter of gasoline increased by more than 700 VND/liter.
Diesel, kerosene and mazut oil also increased by 470 VND, 560 VND, and 670 VND to new prices of 21,010 VND/liter, 21,270 VND/liter and 17,100 VND/kg.
The decision to adjust gasoline prices this time was made in the context that the world gasoline market from March 14-20 was affected by factors such as: increased military activities of Ukraine targeting Russia's oil refining infrastructure, US crude oil inventories continued to decrease, tensions in the Middle East continued... These factors caused world gasoline prices in recent days to fluctuate between increases and decreases, but the upward trend was the main trend.
