In order to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Development (NTM) (hereinafter referred to as the Program) in a timely manner, in accordance with the regulations of the Central Government and the actual implementation conditions in the locality, in the past time, the province has issued complete solutions, mechanisms and policies in management and direction.
Along with that, the departments, branches, sectors and organizations of the province, according to their assigned functions and tasks, have proactively reviewed, developed and issued documents guiding the implementation of the assigned criteria and targets.
At the district and commune levels, there are specialized resolutions and action programs on building new rural areas and including the task of building new rural areas in the annual socio -economic development resolution, with specific goals and targets, suitable to the actual conditions of each locality.
Localities have also promptly issued their own mechanisms and policies to accelerate progress and effectively implement the Program. In particular, investment in the construction of transport infrastructure has been promoted and funding has been allocated for implementation.

For example, in Hoa Son commune (Krong Bong district), with the support of the state, local people have actively contributed money, land, and working days to build essential infrastructure, including rural roads. Thanks to that, up to now, 100% of commune and inter-commune roads, village roads, and hamlet roads have been concreted; 87% of alley roads have been concreted.
Mr. Ho Quang Vu, Chairman of Hoa Son Commune People's Committee, said that with the efforts of the commune government and the solidarity and consensus of the people, the commune has so far completed 13/19 criteria for advanced NTM. The locality is actively arousing consensus among the people, along with the support of the state to soon complete the remaining criteria, striving to "reach the finish line" of advanced NTM in 2025.
According to the People's Committee of Krong Bong district, the roads in the area have been invested in upgrading to ensure convenient traffic. Specifically: 112.5 km of inter-commune roads have been asphalted and concreted (87% of the roads that need to be asphalted and concreted); 97.9 km of inter-village roads and village axes have been concreted and hardened (75.81%) and more than 171 km of alley roads have been built cleanly, not muddy in the rainy season (74.47%). Up to now, the whole district has 9/12 communes meeting 75% of the traffic criteria.

The assessment of the Provincial People's Committee shows that the traffic infrastructure system in the commune, the traffic infrastructure connecting communes and districts is increasingly being improved and enhanced. Currently, the rural traffic system in the province according to the Program has nearly 15,973 km. Of which, nearly 2,188 km of inter-commune roads have been asphalted and concreted (reaching 75.74%); nearly 2,767 km of village and hamlet roads have been hardened (reaching 49.06%); nearly 2,860 km of alley roads have been cleaned and ensured convenient travel all year round (reaching 60.44%); nearly 2,050 km of main intra-field roads have ensured convenient transportation of goods all year round (reaching 48.06%).
Irrigation plays an important role in ensuring water resources for agricultural production, daily life, and natural disaster prevention and control. It can be said that irrigation is considered the "root" for sustainable agricultural development. Recognizing this role, the province has focused on investing in upgrading and gradually modernizing the agricultural and rural infrastructure system, increasingly serving production and people's lives. Up to now, the whole province has 880 irrigation works (623 dams, reservoirs; 167 weirs; 88 pumping stations and 2 dike systems) with a total capacity of reservoirs of about 800 million m3. The total length of canals of irrigation works in the area has been reinforced nearly 1,594 km (reaching 65.64%). In 2024, the whole province will deploy the construction, upgrading and repair of 89 irrigation projects/works/items with a total investment of more than 1,443 billion VND.

Along with investment in transportation and irrigation, the province is continuing to make efforts to build and complete electricity - school - station projects through renovating and upgrading the rural power grid system towards safety, reliability, stability and ensuring aesthetics. At the same time, build facilities for schools according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , as well as complete the system of cultural and sports facilities at commune and village levels, district cultural and sports centers; renovate and embellish cultural heritages associated with rural tourism development.
The health system from the provincial to the grassroots level is increasingly consolidated and developed. The Department of Health has invested in specialized equipment, ensuring human resources for units under the Department to serve the medical examination, treatment and disease prevention needs of the people. In 2024, the Department of Health has allocated more than 92 billion VND to renovate and upgrade infrastructure; purchase equipment for units in the province.
Regarding investment in rural commercial infrastructure, especially traditional markets, is one of the important criteria in the synchronous development of rural infrastructure. Localities in the province also pay great attention to this criterion because it serves the essential living needs of rural residents, and is also a channel for distributing and consuming agricultural products. Currently, the province is continuing to complete documents to put into operation a number of newly built markets and has successfully converted 9 state-managed markets to market models managed by enterprises or cooperatives. In 2025, the province will allocate more than 9 billion VND to implement market investment projects.
Hopefully, with the investment of the state and the consensus and joint efforts of the people, in the coming time, the socio-economic infrastructure in the province will develop synchronously and modernly, ensuring rural-urban connectivity and regional connectivity.
