Building a digital business ecosystem: Thanh Hoa creates a foundation for breakthroughs

In the context of globalization and the explosion of the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital technology has become an important foundation to promote socio-economic growth. In Thanh Hoa, solutions for developing information technology (IT) enterprises are being deployed synchronously, creating a favorable environment for digital enterprises to accelerate, expand markets and form an innovation ecosystem in the province.

Many IT enterprises also actively participate in the digital transformation process in Thanh Hoa province.

In Thanh Hoa, there are currently 1,742 enterprises registered to operate in the field of IT or related industries, of which more than 1,100 enterprises have actual revenue, about 191 enterprises operate effectively in the field of production, business and IT services. Some large units such as VNPT Thanh Hoa, Viettel Thanh Hoa, Minh Lo Company Limited, ThinkLabs Joint Stock Company, Tan Thanh Phuong Technology Development Investment Joint Stock Company ... are playing a leading role, providing many software products, digital content services and technology solutions for the market inside and outside the province.

ThinkLabs , established in 2017, is one of the enterprises with outstanding contributions to the province's digital transformation. The company focuses on smart urban solutions, e-government and the application of AI, big data, VR/AR in user-oriented products. Director Hoang Duc Thinh assessed that with an increasingly complete ecosystem of policies supporting digital businesses, Thanh Hoa is becoming a land of great potential for IT businesses to start up and develop in the long term.

Along with that, Tan Thanh Phuong Technology Development Investment Company, a company with more than 20 years of operation, is implementing many digital products in the field of e-commerce and digital transformation at the local level, such as the environmental monitoring system or the langnghedulich.vn platform to help digitize data on craft villages, OCOP products and cooperative activities. Minh Lo Company Limited also made its mark with hospital management software, electronic medical records and automatic queuing systems deployed at many medical facilities in and outside the province.

In addition to large enterprises, many other technology companies such as G8, Asia, HiTech, Nam Phong, Pro F1, Ham Rong Media, LigoSoft … are contributing to enriching the digital service market, from hardware - telecommunications infrastructure to application software and management platforms.

Not only developing products, IT enterprises also actively participate in the province's digital transformation process, supporting the deployment of infrastructure, digital platforms, digital services in education, healthcare, e-commerce, smart tourism and urban management. This helps improve labor productivity, increase the efficiency of state management and open up many new economic sectors such as data economy, e-commerce, digital economy .

To support technology enterprises, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province issued Decision No. 2985/QD-UBND approving the detailed planning of the Provincial Training and Technology Transfer Center (7.35 hectares), along with Plan No. 77/KH-UBND on developing digital technology enterprises for the period up to 2025 and 2026 - 2030. The province also put into operation the IT Center management building, gradually forming a concentrated IT zone; at the same time, investing in expanding the system of industrial parks and industrial clusters to attract high-tech enterprises, semiconductor chips, electronics, and digital equipment manufacturing.

Thanh Hoa aims to become the leading locality in the North Central region in digital transformation by 2030; develop the digital economy into a new growth driver, contributing 30-35% of GRDP; perfect the digital business ecosystem; build high-tech industrial parks, data centers, innovation centers and digital human resource training facilities, creating a foundation for sustainable development of digital government, digital economy and digital society.
