In order to widely and effectively implement the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", in the first 7 months of 2025, the provincial Fatherland Front and socio- political organizations have coordinated with the government to promote propaganda and mobilize union members, association members and people to actively respond through many forms. In particular, the provincial Fatherland Front has included the content of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", associated with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", mobilizing people to respond to the Appeal Letter of the Steering Committee of the provincial campaign "Quang Ninh people prioritize using goods and services produced and traded in Quang Ninh province".
The Provincial Farmers' Association actively implemented the movements: "Do not use banned substances in livestock", "Farmers compete in good production and business", helping each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably; mobilizing 70,121 farming households to produce, process and consume agricultural products and commit to ensuring food safety; mobilizing 3,539 new farmer members to install and use the Vietnam Farmers app, bringing the total number of farmer members to 41,498 people...
The Provincial Women's Union, through the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", regularly organizes communication programs and introduces products to members. The Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Labor Federation coordinate with enterprises to implement the "Welfare program for union members", propagate and mobilize people to participate in the "Vietnamese goods to rural areas" and "Vietnamese goods week" markets, organize product displays at festivals to introduce and connect consumption of the province's OCOP products and domestically produced goods.
Members of the Steering Committee, functional sectors and localities have coordinated to support the construction and development of production areas according to VietGAP standards with a total area of 322.35 hectares; construction and development of concentrated and specialized production areas, forming production areas for rice, vegetables, tea, lychee, custard apple, guava... granting 54 growing area codes with a total area of over 1,049 hectares (including 34 growing area codes for export and 20 growing area codes for domestic consumption); 7 packing facility codes, and at the same time withdrawing 12 growing area codes.
In addition, the relevant departments have supported people in building a pilot model of tourism chains associated with local products; coordinated to guide owners of establishments in designing products, building brand stories, and standardizing quality to serve tourists ; guided enterprises, cooperatives, and production and business establishments in the province in building and developing brands; organized evaluation and star rating for OCOP products. Currently, the whole province has 432 OCOP products with 3 stars or more (320 products with 3 stars, 107 products with 4 stars and 5 products with 5 stars).
Not only is the agricultural products diverse, the province currently has 135 markets, 7 shopping centers, 26 supermarkets, 384 convenience stores scattered throughout the area, facilitating the supply of goods to the people. Some markets in rural and mountainous areas are also places for exchanging goods, products and cultural exchanges between local people and tourists, contributing to promoting economic development in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, mountainous areas, border areas, and islands.
In particular, thanks to the strengthening of market inspection and control, since the beginning of the year, the authorities have detected, arrested and handled more than 1,460 cases of smuggling and trade fraud, The value of infringing goods is estimated at over 33 billion VND . Thereby, contributing to ensuring food safety, preventing and stopping the risk of disease infection in the province, promoting production and business development, protecting consumer rights, creating a foundation for sustainable and civilized economic development.
