Building Vinh Long into a connecting hub in the Mekong Delta region

The 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee determined that in the 2025-2030 period, Vinh Long province will become a locality with fast and sustainable development, a center of marine economy.

The 1st Congress of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, passed the Congress Resolution, agreed on goals, strategic development orientations, tasks and solutions for the term 2025-2030.

The Congress determined that in the 2025-2030 period, Vinh Long province will be built into a locality with rapid and sustainable development, a center of marine economy , a center of renewable energy production, with a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, smoothly connected with localities and connecting points in the Mekong Delta region.

The average growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the province is 10%. The scale of GRDP at current prices is 589,730 billion VND. The average GRDP per capita by 2030 is 169.46 million VND. The proportion of added value of the digital economy in GRDP is 10.08%. The budget in the area increases by an average of 7%. The investment capital implemented in the area at current prices is 176,919 billion VND./.
