Passenger bus caught fire on highway, many people escaped

(Dan Tri) - A passenger bus traveling from South to North, when arriving in Binh Dinh province, suddenly caught fire at the rear of the bus, the fire burned fiercely, causing many passengers to experience a fright.


On February 22, the leader of Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station, under the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province, informed about a passenger bus fire that occurred on National Highway 1, passing through Tuy Phuoc District. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

At 7:30 a.m. the same day in Dieu Tri town, Tuy Phuoc district, a passenger bus with license plate 35F-000.xx, driven by Mr. Hoang Khac Phi (50 years old, Ninh Binh province), suddenly caught fire at the rear of the vehicle. At that time, there were 4 passengers and 4 people from the bus company on board.

When the fire broke out, Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station discovered and assisted in regulating traffic through this road section. At the same time, they coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Binh Dinh province to promptly extinguish the fire.

According to local residents, there were several passengers and ornamental plants on board the bus when it caught fire. Fortunately, all passengers and the driver escaped in time, causing no casualties, but the bus was severely damaged.
