According to information from some people who witnessed the incident, at around 12 o'clock on June 1, a truck (carrying animal feed) with license plate 60H-023.21 was parked on the side of National Highway 56 when it suddenly "drifted" onto the road (from Long Giao Town to Xuan My Commune, Cam My District).

The truck then collided with a 5-seat car with license plate 60K-126.55 (parked in the same direction in front). The truck only stopped after hitting and breaking a 3-phase electric pole on the side of the road.

The above incident did not cause any human damage but caused the 5-seat car to be deformed, the rear windshield was broken; the 3-phase electric pole was broken. The truck that caused the accident also had many parts damaged in the cabin, the front axle was broken.

Currently, Cam My Electricity has cut off power to more than 1,300 households in this area so that functional units can move trucks and fix the problem. It is expected that power will be restored by 5:00 p.m. the same day.
