Smooth foundation

Japan favors a smooth and dewy base. To achieve this, use a thin layer of foundation to provide the lightest coverage and even out your skin tone. While you should not apply too many layers of foundation to avoid a thick and cakey look, make sure you have covered your entire face before moving on to the next step. After blending the foundation, apply concealer. Finally, use powder to set the makeup.
