In 2023, the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to summarize internal affairs and anti-corruption work in 2022 and to implement tasks for 2023. Following this, it issued Action Program No. 60-CTr/TU, dated March 30, 2023, on implementing Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW, dated November 9, 2022, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (13th term) on continuing to build and perfect the socialist rule of law state of Vietnam in the new period; and Directive No. 32-CT/TU, dated August 31, 2023, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership and guidance on anti-corruption, negative phenomena, and waste prevention. The Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Practices issued a decision to inspect and review socio -economic inspections and implement recommendations of the State Audit Office in the province in 2023. Currently, the inspection and review team of the Provincial Steering Committee is conducting inspections and reviews of 358 inspection conclusions. In addition, the Provincial Party Committee issued Project 08-DA/TU, dated March 8, 2023, on building an information system for handling complaints, denunciations, feedback, and suggestions from citizens; and organized a preliminary review of Party directives and resolutions related to internal affairs work as required by the Central Committee and the plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

The Provincial Party Committee's assessment shows that the fight against corruption and negative practices has been seriously implemented by Party committees, the government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, political and social organizations, departments, agencies, and units, under the leadership and direction of the Party committees, government agencies, and units, in conjunction with the socio-economic development tasks of the locality. State management and coordination among forces in monitoring the situation and handling prominent, unexpected, and emerging cases have become increasingly closer.

Regarding the key tasks for 2024, the Provincial Party Committee emphasized the following requirements: Leading and directing the entire political system to strengthen the fight against corruption and negative practices. Continuing to direct the timely, strict, and lawful handling of corruption and negative cases; inspecting and supervising the investigation, prosecution, and trial of serious and complex corruption and economic cases, as well as those that are pressing and of public concern.

Strengthen the leadership role of Party committees, especially the heads of agencies, units, and localities, in the fight against corruption, waste, and negative phenomena. Focus on leading and directing the effective implementation of political security work, paying attention to security in the economic, cultural, ideological, information and communication, and cybersecurity sectors…
