(PLVN) - Doctors said Xuan Son is in the process of actively recovering from his injury.

This morning (May 26), at Vinmec Time City Hospital, VFF General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu talked with Xuan Son about the player's recovery from surgery. According to the doctors, Xuan Son is recovering quickly and will soon return to competition. It is known that at the Nam Dinh Steel Club, Xuan Son is also actively training with doctors and fitness coaches and is expected to return to training with the club soon.

At the meeting, player Xuan Son also shared with General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu about his recovery process after surgery and expressed his hope to soon return to the training field and compete for the national team and club.

Xuan Son suffered a serious injury in the second leg of the 2024 AFF Cup final against Thailand. He underwent surgery immediately and his recovery is going very well. This is good news for Vietnamese fans and coach Kim Sang Sik, as he needs an effective attacker like Xuan Son on the attack line.

Also at Vinmec Time City Hospital, player Tran Thi Trang is progressing well after surgery. On the morning of May 26, Tran Thi Trang was instructed by doctors on some rehabilitation exercises (using crutches) such as: climbing stairs, walking and exercises related to joints, skin... before returning home. Player Tran Thi Trang (goalkeeper), currently playing for Phong Phu Ha Nam Women's Club, is part of the national women's team in the first round of 2025 to prepare for official international missions in 2025. During training, player Tran Thi Trang suffered a broken left ankle and was promptly operated on on May 23.
