Temporary road appears encroaching on Quan Truong river in Nha Trang

According to people's feedback, at Quan Truong River, through Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province, there was an incident where the riverbed was leveled.

According to a reporter's observation at the above-mentioned area at noon on July 14, a section of the road guardrail was removed; soil and rocks were dumped and leveled towards the riverbed, forming a temporary road.

Some locals said that this temporary road appeared on July 11, however, there is no public information about the project or the investor in the area. Some people passing by here stopped to take photos, curious about the reason why the riverbed area was leveled.

Speaking to SGGP Newspaper, a leader of the Khanh Hoa Province Department of Construction said that he had received information about the above incident and had directed the specialized department to work with the locality and related units. For now, the leveling of the Quan Truong Riverbed will be temporarily suspended.

This leader added that the Department of Construction has requested to review and inspect related issues, then report to the Provincial People's Committee and will provide official information to the press later. Initial information, the temporary road formed after leveling a riverbed area is to serve the construction of the urban area project.
