In October 2025, the Hoa Binh International School Youth Union (Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City) launched a campaign for union members and students to support people affected by storm No. 10. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, Secretary of the school's Youth Union, said: "As soon as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cai Khe Ward launched a campaign to support people affected by the storm, the school's Youth Union called on teachers and students to save their breakfast to donate money; at the same time, they organized a booth selling candy and handmade products to raise funds. As a result, the school's Youth Union collected more than 7.6 million VND to support people in storm and flood areas." Every year, the school's Youth Union also organizes many activities: visiting and giving gifts to orphans and disabled children; participating in environmental protection... Thereby, contributing to raising social responsibility and guiding students' moral and lifestyle.
According to the Cai Khe Ward Youth Union, together with the Hoa Binh International School Youth Union, the Youth Union branches and teams mobilized members to contribute more than 57 million VND, necessities, notebooks and school supplies... to support people affected by storms and floods. From July 2025 to now, the ward's youth have implemented "0 VND Love Store", "Journey of Love", giving hundreds of gifts to students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of nearly 250 million VND...
The Youth Union - Association of universities and colleges at all levels have implemented many volunteer models for social security, associated with professional strengths. Typically, the Youth Union - Student Association of Can Tho Medical College maintains the models of "Living Blood Bank", "Rare Blood Bank" and organizes many activities to promote voluntary blood donation for students. In the period of 2023-2025, the school's youth mobilized more than 1,500 units of blood; coordinated to organize medical examinations and provide free medicine for patients from policy families and households in difficult circumstances, with a total value of more than 1.2 billion VND.
