Yamaha MT-15 2025 launched from only 72 million VND, "competing" with Honda CB150R

Yamaha MT-15 is one of the most popular naked-bike models in the world. Thanks to its reasonable price, light weight and powerful performance, it is worth the money for young people.

Yamaha in Malaysia recently introduced the new updated version of the Yamaha MT-15 2025. This version is simply a new color update and the equipment on the vehicle does not seem to have any significant changes.

In this upgraded version, the Yamaha MT-15 2025 motorcycle model uses the main color of Ice-Storm gray for the fuel tank, front fender, mask and tail of the vehicle.

Along with that are Racing Blue accents along with front shock absorbers painted in striking yellow, creating an extremely modern and sporty overall look for the product.

Apart from the new color, the equipment on the car is still similar to the version currently sold on the market. The car is equipped with an LED lighting system along with a fully digital clock cluster that displays full engine parameters to help the driver understand the optimal vehicle condition.

Yamaha MT-15 2025 still uses inverted front forks and single-cylinder rear shock absorbers to create stability during operation.

The vehicle also uses disc brakes for both front and rear wheels with dual-channel ABS for safety and 140mm wide tires for stability when cornering.

In terms of power, the vehicle still uses a 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine. This engine block is also integrated with VVA variable valve technology to increase power at each rpm range.

The engine block produces about 18 horsepower and maximum torque of 14.1 Nm, with a 6-speed gearbox for flexible operation.

The price of the new Yamaha MT-15 2025 sold in the Malaysian market is 12,498 ringgit (equivalent to about 72.2 million VND).

In the Vietnamese market, the small-sized Yamaha MT-15 motorcycle is also officially distributed at 69 million VND, competing with the Kawasaki Z150 and Honda CB150R.
