Yen Bai completes over 400 billion VND road on the southern bank of the Red River

The route connecting National Highway 37, National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway is 4.15km long with a roadbed width of 33m with 4 lanes and a fixed median strip. The starting point of the route at Km0 coincides with the end point of Bach Lam Bridge project at Km93+070 - QL32C and the end point of the route intersects with Au Co Street at Km6+606.

The project with a total investment of 412 billion VND was approved by the People's Committee of Yen Bai province in 2020 and assigned the Yen Bai Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.

The road construction unit includes the joint venture of Yen Bai Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company - Nam Phong Construction Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, and the joint venture of Minh FAAS Construction Joint Stock Company - Binh Duong Joint Stock Company - Hiep Phu Company Limited.

According to the project to adjust the general planning of Yen Bai city and its vicinity until 2040, with a vision to 2060, Yen Bai city has been oriented to become an urban area on both sides of the Red River instead of turning its back on the Red River as before.

The above project is the basis for the formation of 3 routes connecting National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway and Au Co Street, creating 3 main roads dividing the new urban area south of the Red River into 4 sub-areas with a planning scale of about 1,100 hectares.

The route connecting National Highway 37, National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway has been completed and put into use, contributing to improving the quality of Yen Bai province's traffic infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for the development of Yen Bai urban area to the right bank of the Red River, promoting the socio-economic development of the locality and the whole region.

It is known that the project of the Road connecting National Highway 37, National Highway 32C with Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway is a key project chosen by Yen Bai province as a project to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction, up to now, 9 ministries, ministerial-level agencies and 51 provinces and centrally-run cities have registered 83 projects and works to start construction and inaugurate on the occasion of the important event of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

The inauguration ceremony held on the morning of April 19 was broadcast online between locations across the country and live on National Television.
