During 7 days (from June 15 to 21), 123 "young soldiers" will live, study and train like real soldiers at Battalion 208, Regiment 736, Binh Phuoc Provincial Military Command. The training program content is rich and diverse, including: learning military regulations, discipline, how to address each other in the army; training in command movements, martial arts, learning about infantry weapons; participating in team building, practicing life skills, teamwork skills, self-service skills; folk entertainment activities: water splashing, fishing, blindfolded duck catching, "Let's protect the environment" costume; participating in the program of returning to the source, traditional education at Ta Thiet base; topics on situation handling skills, first aid, accident and injury prevention, learning skills. In particular, the topic "Studying well is the path to success" promises to give students the motivation to study and excel in the following school years.
“Semester in the Army” is a special experientialeducation model for children, aiming to train discipline, independence, the will to overcome difficulties and the courage to rise up. By participating in the program, children are also nurtured with patriotism, national pride and belief in the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army. This is the 13th time the “Semester in the Army” program in Binh Phuoc province has been organized by the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Military Command. The program has become a familiar playground, attracting the attention of children and parents in the province every summer.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Hong Phan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council, Head of the program's Organizing Committee emphasized: "The program is a valuable opportunity for children in the province to experience the military environment, learn vivid and meaningful lessons about solidarity and the will to rise up, helping them have a rewarding summer and become more mature in all aspects."
Right after the departure ceremony, 123 "young soldiers" officially set off, starting their training journey, promising a meaningful summer with many memorable experiences.

The opening ceremony was marked by welcoming performances by clubs, teams, and groups from the Provincial Youth Activity Center, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, mixed with pride in the traditions of the homeland and country.
No phones, no social networks, no more long naps... 123 children in Binh Phuoc have chosen for themselves a very different summer - a summer of training, discipline and maturity.
