169 candidates took the Hanoi National University of Education's competency assessment test in Quy Nhon

On May 11, Hanoi National University of Education organized the 2024 competency assessment exam at Quy Nhon University (Binh Dinh). Accordingly, Quy Nhon University arranged 5 exam rooms, with 169 candidates from the South Central and Central Highlands provinces taking the exam.

According to Thanh Nien reporters, although the Central region is in the hot season, in recent days in Quy Nhon City, it has rained at night, so the climate has been cool. On the morning of May 11, in this area, there was no harsh sunlight, the temperature was from 29-30 degrees Celsius, so it was quite favorable for candidates. In the examination rooms, Quy Nhon University arranged many ceiling fans and wall fans to serve the candidates.

At the Quy Nhon University exam site, most candidates arrived early and were in a relaxed and happy mood. Parents taking their children to the exam were also arranged to wait in a cool area on the school campus.

Candidates' information is carefully checked before entering the exam room.

According to Hanoi National University of Education, candidates registering for the 2024 capacity assessment exam must be 12th grade high school students or have graduated from high school (or equivalent), be in good health and not under criminal prosecution, and wish to apply for admission to university training programs of Hanoi National University of Education or apply for admission to universities that recognize and use the capacity assessment exam results of Hanoi National University of Education for admission consideration.

The invigilator announced the exam regulations to the candidates.

The competency assessment tests include the following subjects: mathematics, literature, English, physics, chemistry, biology, history, and geography. The test includes multiple choice and essay questions, aiming to assess students' abilities at the level of understanding, application, and creative application for university admission. The questions are based on the current generaleducation program, taught in high schools according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

This year, 11,537 candidates registered to take the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University of Education, of which 169 candidates took the exam in Quy Nhon, 243 candidates in Da Nang city and 11,125 candidates in Hanoi.
