197 athletes from 15 countries will participate in the upcoming international badminton tournament "LINING Vietnam International Series 2024" in Bac Giang

On the morning of November 7, 2024, at the 4th floor hall, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the local Organizing Committee met to discuss preparations for the upcoming "Li-Ning VietNam International Series 2024" Badminton tournament in Bac Giang .

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Foreign Affairs, Bac Giang City People's Committee, Provincial Radio and Television Station and representatives of the Department of Education and Training, Department of Information and Communications, Department of Health , Provincial Police, Provincial Youth Union, Bac Giang Newspaper, Electricity Company, Provincial Sports Training and Training Center and Sports Management Department.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (the Standing Office of the Organizing Committee) briefly informed about the preparation work for the tournament in the past time; The Department proactively reported and asked for the opinion of the Provincial People's Committee on the organization of the tournament; coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to advise on the development of the Implementation Plan; decided to establish a provincial-level Organizing Committee to organize the tournament. At the same time, proactively coordinated with the Vietnam Badminton Federation to unify the contents; inspected and reviewed all existing facilities at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the Provincial Sports Training and Competition House, arranged sufficient facilities and related conditions to organize the tournament.

From November 12 to November 17, 2024, the Vietnam Badminton Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang province will organize the "Li-Ning VietNam International Series 2024" international badminton tournament at the Bac Giang Provincial Sports Gymnasium. The athlete delegations will practice at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Gymnasium and stay at the Muong Thanh Bac Giang Hotel.

Up to now, there are 197 athletes (73 female athletes, 124 male athletes) from 15 countries participating in the tournament, including: Australia, Indonesia, India, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, SRT Lanka, Sweden SWEDEN, Thailand, Chinese Taipel, Vietnam. This is a strong tournament, gathering top athletes, promising to bring many good, dramatic and attractive matches./.
