(Baohatinh.vn) - 3 officers and soldiers of Bac Hong Linh Ward Police (Ha Tinh) traveled 25 km to Nghe An 115 Hospital to donate blood so that the patient could have timely surgery.

Due to the impact of storm No. 10, patient TTT (born in 1947, in Nam Hong Linh ward) fell and broke his femur and suffered multiple injuries. The patient had to undergo emergency surgery at Nghe An 115 Hospital and needed a large blood transfusion (blood type A).

Receiving the information on the afternoon of October 1, 3 officers and soldiers of Bac Hong Linh Ward Police, including: Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Tan Anh - Deputy Chief of Ward Police; Captain Hoang Van Anh and Captain Le Anh Hung - Ward Police officers traveled 25 km to Nghe An 115 Hospital to donate blood so that the patient could have timely surgery.

Captain Hoang Van Anh and Captain Le Anh Hung directly donated blood to save patients.

Thanks to the blood donations from officers and soldiers of Bac Hong Linh Ward Police, the patient's health has stabilized.

It is known that Lieutenant Colonel Le Ngoc Tan Anh has donated blood more than 10 times; Captain Hoang Van Anh and Captain Le Anh Hung have donated blood 16 times and many times directly saved patients' lives.
