30 booths "Mekong Craft Village Imprint" connecting trade for female entrepreneurs

The trade connection program was held within the framework of the 2nd Congress, term 2025-2030, of the Kien Giang Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, which recently took place in Rach Gia City, Kien Giang. This is an activity to promote the identity of traditional crafts through 30 booths designed under the theme "Mekong Craft Village Imprint".

Booths from traditional craft villages of the Mekong Delta provinces recreate the typical cultural landscape and miniature craft villages of the Southwest region through simulating images of boats, sampans, symbols of the river region such as Phu Quoc traditional fish sauce, An Giang weaving, Dong Thap scarf weaving, Can Tho floating market, Can Tho conical hat weaving, Ben Tre coconut candy, Ca Mau mat weaving, etc. The program contributes to enriching the cultural space and strengthening trade connections between localities.

30 gian hàng — Female entrepreneurs join in business networking

In addition to the trade connection activities, the Gala “Sac hoa hoi” also took place with the participation of nearly 300 delegates who are members of the Kien Giang Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association and female entrepreneurs from 32 provinces and cities across the country. This is not only a night to honor brave female entrepreneurs but also a place to exchange, connect and spread positive values from the community of female leaders and female business owners. The program “Sac hoa hoi” created a strong impression, honoring the beauty, intelligence, compassion and determination of women doing business in the new era. The program aims to spread the spirit of solidarity, bravery and positive inspiration to the community of female-owned businesses across the country.

These activities are a testament to the dynamism, innovation and creativity of female entrepreneurs in Kien Giang province. In recent times, the Kien Giang Women Entrepreneurs Association has proactively implemented many practical and creative activities to support members in overcoming difficulties and maintaining stable production and business. Training programs, fostering management skills, digital transformation, sustainable development, trade connection... have been organized in a systematic and in-depth manner, contributing to improving the capacity of female entrepreneurs in the province.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Kien Giang Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has grown to 104 members, established 7 branches; organized 67 workshops and forums to improve capacity; participated in 25 forums and exhibitions at home and abroad; implemented 24 trade promotion programs with the participation of more than 50 businesses; participated in activities organized by the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs and member women entrepreneurs associations.

The Kien Giang Women Entrepreneurs Association has also actively participated in social security work such as building 60 shelters, supporting the care of more than 100 orphans and awarding hundreds of scholarships... with a total cost of more than 15.7 billion VND. Through its first term of operation, Kien Giang women entrepreneurs have affirmed their role in connecting, spreading and making positive contributions to the female business community in Kien Giang province. With these contributions, the Kien Giang Women Entrepreneurs Association was awarded 21 certificates of merit and more than 60 certificates of merit of various types.
