The Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) recently held a launch ceremony for the program "Resolution No. 57: From Vision to Implementation of the State-University-Enterprise Cooperation Model" in Ho Chi Minh City. The program aims to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, while also aligning with Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on the development of the private economy based on the "three-party" cooperation model.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Binu Jacob, General Director of Nestlé Vietnam , said that upon hearing about the "three-party" cooperation model, he realized that this is exactly what Nestlé has been doing for decades. According to Mr. Binu Jacob, Nestlé believes in the concept of creating shared value, bringing benefits to all parties, including schools, farmers, society, and businesses. Mr. Binu Jacob affirmed Nestlé Vietnam's commitment to accompanying and supporting the Government in the "three-party" model.
Mr. Binu Jacob emphasized that Nestlé believes in the power of youth, innovation, and digital transformation. That is why, more than 12 years ago, Nestlé established the "Nestlé Needs Youth" program, an initiative aimed at continuously enhancing and updating the skills of young workers to prepare them for a dynamic global world . "In the past year alone, Nestlé has impacted 25,000 young Vietnamese people through training, exchanges, consultations, and leadership development programs for young leaders," said Mr. Binu Jacob.
In addition, the General Director of Nestlé Vietnam also stated that many young people participating in the "Nestlé Needs YOUth" program come from member universities of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, especially the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, the International University, and the University of Economics and Law…

At the event, the General Director of Nestlé Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) in various fields. Accordingly, Nestlé Vietnam and VNU-HCM will collaborate on practical initiatives to train, develop, and connect young talents. These activities will equip students with essential skills to quickly adapt to the modern work environment. In addition, VNU-HCM students will have the opportunity to participate in Nestlé's recruitment, training, and talent development programs, expanding their career opportunities, affirming their personal capabilities, and creating a solid foundation for their future careers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, said that the launch of the "three-party" cooperation model by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, with the enthusiastic participation of the business community, local leaders, scientists, etc., is an activity to "keep the flame alive" so that Resolution 57 can be put into practice.
According to Mr. Tran Luu Quang, agencies need to boldly cut 50% of the time, conditions, and procedures in the "three-party" linkage model, and could even create a "dedicated lane" like a priority vehicle for this purpose. Regarding businesses, Mr. Tran Luu Quang emphasized their central role and hoped that businesses and entrepreneurs would be more "willing to play" in the "three-party" linkage model.
