The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the CSI Program's implementation, with its scale and quality increasingly expanding, affirming its position as one of the leading prestigious activities in the field of sustainable development in Vietnam. At the event, with 5 consecutive years in the top 10 most sustainable enterprises in Vietnam in the manufacturing sector, Nestlé Vietnam was awarded the CSI Star title.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ho Sy Hung, Chairman of VCCI emphasized: “We have been striving to build CSI into an ecosystem that promotes sustainable transformation of national enterprises, transforming this index into a driving force for creation - where enterprises are not only recognized with titles, but also together shape the future of green economic development in Vietnam. With CSI 2025 building and releasing the first version of the index specifically for small and micro enterprises - in addition to the version for medium and large enterprises like previous years, we hope to create a premise to spread sustainable development to the type of enterprise that accounts for a large proportion in the national enterprise structure.”
As co-chair of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), Mr. Binu Jacob, General Director of Nestlé Vietnam, shared: “When Vietnam aims to become a developed country with a green growth orientation, Nestlé affirms its role as a strategic partner. We constantly strive to ensure that all business activities are associated with social responsibility, environmental protection and contribute to the sustainable future of the country.”

Believing that sustainable development is only truly successful when all businesses - from large to small - have the opportunity to participate, Nestlé Vietnam not only pursues its own goals but also pioneers in spreading good practices according to the CSI index, contributing to building a strong business community that adapts well to fluctuations and contributes to national goals.
In that spirit, Nestlé Vietnam, in collaboration with VBCSD and partners, has implemented many training programs, disseminated knowledge on ESG, updated the legal framework and shared experiences for CSI 100 and businesses in the supply chain. These activities help improve competitiveness, the ability to integrate into the global value chain and realize Vietnam's sustainable development goals.
Over three decades of presence in Vietnam, Nestlé has been steadfast in its philosophy of “Creating Shared Value”, not only expanding investment and contributing to economic growth, but also promoting multi-stakeholder cooperation initiatives. By aligning its business objectives with national priorities, Nestlé affirms the principle: responsible investment and a long-term vision that benefits both business and society.
