On August 22, the Spectrum of the Seas ship docked at Phu My town, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, bringing more than 4,000 international guests. This is the third time the Spectrum of the Seas has chosen Ba Ria - Vung Tau as its destination.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, said that the ship docking in Ba Ria - Vung Tau marked the official recovery of the international cruise tourism industry in Vietnam after a period of interruption due to the pandemic.
Of the ship's more than 4,000 passengers, more than 3,000 registered to join the tour to explore the countryside, rivers, craft villages, and shopping in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, the West, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Therefore, after getting off the ship, about 2/3 of the guests quickly left the ship to join the Ba Ria - Vung Tau countryside tour (Cao Dai holy temple route, Ho Phap pagoda - Phu My town; Hoa Long market, wine making - Ba Ria city; An Ngai rice paper making, Nguyen Hoang ancient house - Long Dien district) and Vung Tau tour (Front Beach, Nho mountain, Niet Ban Tinh Xa, Bach Dinh, Thang Tam communal house); experience the river delta in Cai Be - Tien Giang and explore the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.
On a very modern super ship
By late afternoon of the same day, the super ship left Ba Ria-Vung Tau for Singapore, ending a 12-day cruise to explore Asia via Japan - Hong Kong (China) - Vietnam and Singapore.
It is known that on the super ship Spectrum of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International Group held a ceremony to announce the recovery of the international cruise industry.
Ms. Angie Stephen, Managing Director of Asia-Pacific and Vice President of Royal Caribbean International Group, said that since the beginning of the year, the super ship Spectrum of the Seas has made 3 Asian voyages to Vietnam. Of which, 2 times the ship docked at Cai Mep - Thi Vai port cluster, bringing guests to explore Ba Ria-Vung Tau and neighboring provinces and cities.

Ms. Angie Stephen emphasized that in 2024, the group will bring more ships to Vietnam and hopes to welcome more Vietnamese passengers on board to join the experiences.
Spectrum of the Seas is in the top 10 largest cruise ships in the world. This ship is nearly 350m long, 41m high, launched in April 2019.
The ship is equipped with the most modern facilities today with 16 floors, more than 2,000 rooms, can serve up to more than 5,600 guests. On the ship there are many outstanding amenities such as: 47 restaurants, cafes, many swimming pools, jacuzzis, cinemas, spas, 17 elevators...
