500 delegates attended the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

From October 1-3, 2025, at the Provincial Labor Culture House (Thanh Vinh Ward), Nghe An Provincial Party Committee solemnly held the 20th Party Congress, term 2025-2030 with the participation of 500 official delegates, representing 200,579 party members in the entire Party Committee.

The 20th Provincial Party Congress, for the 2025-2030 term, is a momentous political event, a turning point, and of special significance in the process of building and developing Nghe An province.

This is not only an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the results of the 5-year implementation of the Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, but also a starting point to open up a new path of development, contributing to realizing the goal of building Nghe An into a prosperous province of the country, a national-level growth pole, and a center of the North Central region in industry, high-tech agriculture , education, health, science and technology, logistics, and tourism.

The Congress is taking place in the context of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army striving to achieve outstanding results to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Party; focusing on the comprehensive and decisive implementation of historical reforms and policies, as well as many strategic breakthroughs, to lead the country steadily into a new era of development.

The tremendous achievements of the reform process over the past 40 years, the outstanding results in Party building and rectification, socio-economic development, and national defense and security, provide a solid foundation for the Party Committee and people of Nghe An to continue to have faith in the revolutionary path that our Party and people have chosen.

The 20th Provincial Party Congress will focus on democratically and objectively discussing the results of the five-year implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and drawing profound lessons learned.

The Congress will also focus on discussing and determining the direction, objectives, tasks, and key solutions for the 2025-2030 period, as well as the vision for the following years; electing the Provincial Party Committee Executive Board for the 20th term (2025-2030); and electing delegates to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Promoting democracy and collective intelligence in discussing and contributing ideas to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

This is crucial preparation to work together with the whole country to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, leading Vietnam to steadily advance on the path of building a developed, high-income country by 2045.

The Congress is a gathering place for the faith, wisdom, aspirations, and the strength of unity of the entire Party, people, and armed forces in the province. With the motto: "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development," the Congress will make important decisions to continue making breakthrough, strong, and comprehensive progress in the coming term.

The Congress identified the core goals and directions outlined in the Congress theme, which are: "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; comprehensively innovating, achieving breakthrough development, and striving to make Nghe An a prosperous province and a national-level growth pole in the new development era."

The success of the Congress will contribute to strongly encouraging patriotism, igniting aspirations for progress, consolidating firm belief in the Party's leadership, and creating momentum for Nghe An to confidently move into a new era of development alongside the country.
