In the first 7 months of the year, AIA Vietnam paid more than 1,230 billion VND in insurance benefits.

(Dan Tri) - In just the first 7 months of the year, AIA Life Insurance Company (Vietnam) has paid out more than 1,230 billion VND in insurance benefits to more than 120,000 cases.

Specifically, more than VND630 billion was paid for health-related benefits such as critical illness, total permanent disability, hospitalization and other medical benefits. Nearly VND450 billion was for death benefits and more than VND150 billion was spent on remaining benefits under the contract.

2025 is the 10th consecutive year that AIA has been honored in the Top 10 Prestigious Insurance Companies.

As of the end of July, AIA Vietnam is serving more than 1.6 million customers through a network of nearly 200 offices nationwide. The total amount of insurance benefits paid has exceeded VND 15,600 billion with more than 1.5 million cases paid with an average of VND 165-170 billion per month since 2022.

AIA Vietnam has deployed AIA Health Insurance Services since July 2024 to build the capacity to manage insurance benefit settlement experiences and proactively take care of customers participating in health insurance at AIA Vietnam.

After more than 1 year of implementation, AIA Vietnam has established a network of partners with more than 470 hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities to provide hospital fee guarantee services to customers nationwide easily and quickly. This network will continue to be expanded and expanded in the coming time.

As of June 30, AIA Vietnam's total assets reached VND71,523 billion, up 6% compared to the beginning of the year. As a result, the time to process insurance claims has been drastically reduced: More than 80% of cases are processed within 24 hours, 92% are completed within 2 days, 94.5% within 5 days. Only a small number of cases are delayed due to the need for additional documents or additional appraisals. This is a clear demonstration that technology has contributed to transforming a complex process into a faster, simpler, easier experience for customers.
