70 patients were hospitalized after eating B bread.

According to the doctor, the health of the patients is gradually improving, no patients are getting worse. Of these, 5 patients have just been discharged from the hospital due to stable health.

According to the patients, they all ate meat sandwiches from bakery B (Xuan Binh ward, Long Khanh city) from 3pm to 7pm on April 30. It was not until the night of April 30 and the early morning of May 1 (4-8 hours after eating the sandwiches) that they experienced stomachaches, vomiting, and diarrhea...

On May 1, the patients were admitted to the hospital one after another. The doctor diagnosed intestinal infections, but none of them showed serious symptoms.

Receiving the case, on May 1, the Medical Center and Long Khanh City Health Department also coordinated an inspection at the B.

Through inspection, it was determined that the facility had 4 people selling cakes directly. However, the facility did not have a certificate of food safety eligibility, no certificate of training in food safety knowledge, the employees did not have health certificates, no raw material purchase contracts, most of the raw materials were sourced from stores near the bakery.

The working group requested the facility to temporarily suspend business until there is a conclusion from the authorities.
