Ahead of the 2023 Asian Cup, the AFC has named the most notable names in the tournament. Among them, striker Pham Tuan Hai of the Vietnamese national team is on this list.

Hanoi FC players are expected to continue to show high performance after their performance in the recent AFC Champions League 2023/24 group stage.

Since coach Troussier took charge of the Vietnamese team, Tuan Hai has played an even more important role. He is a mainstay in the "Golden Star Warriors" playing style.

AFC added: "Tuan Hai has been in good form in tournaments. In the AFC Champions League group stage, the 25-year-old player had 4 goals and 1 assist. In which, this player scored the decisive goal to help Hanoi FC beat the champion Urawa Red Diamonds.

This shows Tuan Hai's talent. Vietnamese fans can completely expect the Hanoi FC star to shine at the 2023 Asian Cup."

Tuan Hai grew up in the youth training center of Hanoi FC. This player made his debut for the Vietnamese national team in a match against Oman at the end of 2021.

Up to this point, the striker born in 1998 has played 22 matches for the Vietnamese national team and scored 4 goals. This year, he has contributed two goals against Syria and Palestine.

After impressive performances for Hanoi FC and the Vietnam national team, Tuan Hai is a strong candidate for the title "Vietnam Golden Ball 2023".
