More than 100 delegates including startups, small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, experts, students from institutes, schools, Youth Union,... in the province attended the workshop.

Mr. Mai Xuan Giang, Deputy Director of the Center for Technology and Information (Department of Science and Technology) said that AI is opening up breakthrough opportunities but also posing many challenges for businesses, especially startups and small and medium enterprises.

In Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, digital transformation and innovation are important pillars that are receiving strong investment attention. In particular, AI is the field that is focused on applying to the province's key industries such as tourism, logistics, seaport industry and smart agriculture .

Some enterprises in the province have initially deployed smart monitoring systems, traceability and optimal production management using AI.

Representatives of the Chau Duc District Farmers' Association proposed that experts from the Department of Science and Technology support AI training for farmers in the process of data digitization.

At the workshop, the speaker equipped the delegates with knowledge and skills in using AI; updated AI trends in the world and Vietnam, how they affect businesses and the provincial startup ecosystem; analyzed opportunities and challenges when applying AI in businesses. This helps businesses have a comprehensive picture of the latest technology trends and build appropriate strategic thinking to adapt to the wave of technology, making the best use of AI in the production and business practices of businesses.
