This is the comment of Mr. Ho Duc Thang - Director of the National Institute of Digital Technology and Digital Transformation ( Ministry of Science and Technology ) at the workshop responding to the series of events on digital transformation day 2025 on the morning of October 31.

The workshop with the theme "Faster, more effective, closer to the people digital transformation", this is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the high political determination of the province in implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo and Action Program No. 02-CTr/TU of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee.
At the workshop, participating units presented papers, focusing on many practical topics such as: sharing models, experiences and digital technology solutions in developing digital infrastructure, digital platforms and artificial intelligence (AI) to serve digital government, digital economy and digital society; discussing solutions to ensure network information security, protect organizational and personal data in the digital transformation process.
Standing Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong said that the workshop is not only a forum for agencies, organizations, businesses and experts to exchange and share experiences, but also a space for connecting the Government - Businesses - People - Experts, aiming to spread the spirit of digital transformation widely in social life.

According to Mr. Phong, digital transformation is an inevitable trend and a key driving force to help localities and businesses make breakthroughs in the fourth industrial revolution. Recently, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of An Giang province have issued many specific programs, plans and projects to effectively implement digital transformation until 2025, with a vision to 2030. Priority areas include digital government, digital economy and digital society, in which the province is interested in allocating funding to meet implementation requirements.
Currently, An Giang province has put into operation many important technology platforms such as document management and operation system, online video conferencing system, online public service portal, Smart AnGiang smart urban system, and e-commerce platform angiang.sanviet.vn. Community digital technology groups in localities are also promoting the role of "extended arm" of the government in bringing digital technology closer to the people, promoting the strong development of digital society in the fields of education, health, social security and production and business.
According to the head of the science and technology sector of An Giang province, Vo Minh Trung, this workshop on digital transformation in An Giang province focuses on solutions for developing digital infrastructure, applying digital technology, applying AI to develop digital government, digital economy, digital society, and network information security.
Sharing the same view, Mr. Vo Minh Hoang - AI consultant of VNPT Group said that AI application supports people and civil servants, helps save time, increase productivity, accuracy, consistency and convenience.
