The signing of this contract underscores Vietjet 's commitment to its strategy of expanding its flight network and modernizing its fleet, bringing the total number of A321neo aircraft it has ordered to 280.

The A321neo is the largest version of Airbus' best-selling A320neo family.

This agreement follows Vietjet's previous order for 20 A330neo wide-body aircraft in May, thereby strengthening the long-term strategic partnership with Airbus.

The A321neo is the largest version of Airbus’ best-selling A320neo family, offering long range and exceptional performance. Thanks to the combination of new-generation engines and Sharklet wingtips, the A321neo delivers 50% less noise, 20% more fuel efficiency and lower CO₂ emissions than previous generation narrowbody aircraft, maximising passenger comfort.

By the end of September 2025, nearly 100 customers worldwide had ordered more than 7,100 A321neo aircraft.

The A321neo can operate on up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Airbus aims to increase SAF utilization to 100% by 2030 for this aircraft, directly supporting the aviation industry's sustainability goals.
