On May 5, Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States Nguyen Quoc Dung and his wife Tran Thi Bich Van attended the Diplomatic Corps Fashion Gala event with the theme: "Creating Power, Designing Peace" organized by the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Residence Museum for the second time in Washington DC.

Attending the event were Ambassadors and representatives of more than 50 countries with costumes on display, former officials, businesses, designers, and artists in the fashion industry.

The exhibition brings together traditional costumes typical of countries, costumes used by the wives of high-ranking leaders of countries in important events...

The event is not only an art playground, but also an opportunity to connect the diplomatic community, politicians, designers and fashion lovers in a space where cultural identity and the message of global peace intersect.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the United States brought the Nhat Binh Ao Dai costume from the special collection of designer Cao Minh Tien to the exhibition at the event. The Nhat Binh Ao Dai costume attracted the attention of visitors because of the meaning of the costume, the style combining tradition and modernity with traditional Vietnamese silk and raw silk materials.

Nhat Binh Ao Dai is a traditional cultural beauty of Hue. In 1807, under King Gia Long, Nhat Binh traditional costume was officially regulated and maintained throughout the Nguyen Dynasty. This is not only a symbol of traditional beauty but also an embodiment of stability and prestige in contemporary society.

Inspired by the beauty of the Nhat Binh shirt, traditional patterns with royal colors were used by Designer Cao Minh Tien, arranged in a modern and youthful way, bringing a new look.
