ASUS launches thin and light 16-inch AI laptop equipped with AMD chip

AI is becoming an inevitable trend in the technology industry, and the laptop market is no exception. With a series of benefits in terms of performance, long battery life and security, owning an AI laptop will be a great advantage in both work and life.

"Choosing an AI laptop is no longer a question of whether or not to buy, but which AI laptop to buy," said Ranjit Atwal, senior analyst at Gartner.

According to Gartner, AI laptops will account for 51% of all laptops sold in 2025, showing that demand from users is increasing strongly.

Despite being thin and light, Zenbook S16 is still extremely durable thanks to the company's exclusive Ceraluminum material, which is up to 30% lighter than conventional aluminum but has high hardness, helping the device withstand impacts and pressure during use.

Thanks to that, Zenbook S16 meets the MIL-STD 810H military durability standard, providing shock resistance, heat resistance and durable operation in many harsh conditions.

Not only is the size advantage, the Zenbook S16's screen also impresses with its display quality.

ASUS-exclusive Lumina OLED technology with millions of self-illuminating pixels delivers absolute black thanks to HDR True Black 500.

Lumina OLED is also ideal for content creators as it reproduces 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is Pantone Validated, a prestigious certification in the graphics industry.

3K resolution combined with 120Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time makes images sharp, page scrolling, scene transitions and graphics operations smooth.

Zenbook S16 is also equipped with technology to reduce harmful blue light, helping to protect eyes when working for long periods of time, certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS Eye Care.

Latest AMD Ryzen AI Chip with Powerful Performance

Despite its thin and light design, the Zenbook S16 packs impressive power thanks to the latest AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor.

This is a new generation Ryzen chip line with integrated neural processing cores (NPUs) capable of processing up to 50 TOPS (50 trillion calculations per second), allowing acceleration of AI tasks such as natural language processing, image and voice recognition, or optimizing the system according to user usage habits.

Graphics performance is handled by the new generation AMD Radeon integrated GPU, which is capable of meeting the needs of basic photo editing, video editing or playing light games.

Zenbook S16 is also equipped with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, handling smoothly when working with multiple applications at the same time, booting up the machine almost instantly and opening large files in a snap.

Combined with a 78Wh battery and an AI processor that automatically optimizes the energy efficiency of applications running in the background, the Zenbook S16 offers long battery life for an x86-based machine, reaching up to 18 hours on a single charge when running basic office tasks, enough for a whole working day.

Improve work performance

Zenbook S16 is one of Microsoft's Copilot+ PC certified laptops, allowing users to take full advantage of Windows AI features.

Users can command Copilot to perform tasks such as summarizing text, searching for information, or editing content with just their voice or a simple command. There is also a dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard to quickly activate the virtual assistant with just one press.

The Full HD IR camera supporting Windows Hello on the device also enables fast and secure user authentication with facial recognition every time you boot up.

The device also integrates Microsoft Pluton security chip and TPM 2.0 to protect data from malware attacks.

Meanwhile, the dual microphone system integrates AI Noise Canceling technology to filter out environmental noise during video calls, ensuring clear and crisp sound even when working in noisy spaces.
