Surpassing more than 40,000 candidates in Nghe An province, Nguyen Bang Tam (class 9C) excellently won the top prize in the province with a total score of 29.25 (literature 9.5; English 10 and math 9.75).
Tam won second prize in provincial math for grade 9, second prize in provincial science and technology for grade 8, and many other awards. Tam's learning method is to be proactive, analyze the questions carefully, and always ask why, instead of "parrot learning".
In the same class as Bang Tam, Nguyen Tat Han also made his teachers proud when he scored 29 points, becoming the province's second-highest scorer. The student often smiled and had a habit of solving math problems at any time. Han won second prize in the provincial math competition for 9th graders and a silver medal in the Southeast Asian Math Olympiad when he was in 7th grade.

“My house is more than 12km from school. To study well, I have to stay with relatives and be independent in my eating and studying. I feel lucky because I have dedicated teachers, supportive friends, and supportive family,” Tat Han shared.
Notably, in the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Han scored 14.5 points in the specialized subject and was admitted to the specialized math class 1.
In 5th place in the province is Nguyen Ha Vy, a student in the same class as Bang Tam and Tat Han, with a total score of 28.5 (Literature 9.25; Math 9.25 and English 10). Vy is known as a student who studies all subjects equally, maintaining continuous achievements since elementary school.
This pretty little student not only achieved high results in the 10th grade exam but also excelled in winning the top prize in the English-Chinese major at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, with 20 points in the major. Previously, she won second prize in English at the provincial level and first prize in the provincial science and technology competition.

“Ha Vy is a very hard-working student, a good listener and has good foreign language thinking skills. She studies because of passion, not for achievements,” a teacher commented.
Mr. Dau Kim Tuyen, homeroom teacher of class 9C, Ly Nhat Quang Secondary School, shared: “The students always set out specific study plans, practice test questions every day, and proactively grasp the essence of knowledge. I am just a companion, and today's success is the serious choice of the students from the first years of school.”
