Bac Giang: Issue a plan to evaluate the anti-corruption work of the Provincial People's Committee

The plan aims to evaluate the leadership and direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the implementation of the regulations on corruption prevention and control by agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities. Enhance the responsibility of all levels and sectors in effectively implementing measures to prevent, detect and handle corruption in order to prevent and repel negative corruption in the province.

Accordingly, the scope of assessment is the work of preventing and combating corruption at the provincial level in 2024, including: Assessment of state management work on preventing and combating corruption and the results of implementing corruption prevention measures; results of detecting and handling corruption; results of recovering corrupt assets of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, districts, towns and cities. The assessment period is from December 16, 2023 to December 15, 2024.

The assessment of anti-corruption work in 2024 includes 4 contents: Criteria for assessing the development and completion of policies and laws on anti-corruption; Criteria for assessing the implementation of anti-corruption measures; Criteria for assessing the detection and handling of corruption; Criteria for assessing the recovery of corrupt assets.

Regarding the evaluation method, for departments and agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, District People's Committees, and relevant agencies, collect records and documents proving the results of implementing legal regulations on anti-corruption within their scope of management, synthesize the content into evaluation forms. Send the results of the synthesis with records and supporting documents to the Provincial Inspectorate and relevant agencies. Coordinate, explain, and provide documents for clarification upon request of the Provincial Inspectorate and the Government Inspectorate (if any) during the review and scoring process.

For the Provincial Working Group, based on records and documents on the results of state management activities on anti-corruption of the Provincial People's Committee, departments and agencies under the Provincial People's Committee on anti-corruption and the results of implementation of regulations on anti-corruption of agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, People's Committees at district, town and city levels and other relevant agencies, to synthesize, self-assess and score according to the prescribed assessment criteria.

Synthesize self-assessment scores, explain self-assessment results, score, advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to develop a report on the results of the assessment of anti-corruption work and the forms prescribed in the set of indicators for assessing anti-corruption work issued by the Government Inspector General. Coordinate with the Scoring Team of the Government Inspectorate to review and clarify contents related to the examination of the Assessment Report of the Provincial People's Committee.
