| Representative of Tan Thanh Agricultural Cooperative received Mai An Tiem award for Red sticky rice turmeric starch product |
On the evening of December 11, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance held a ceremony to honor typical cooperative products and award the first Mai An Tiem Award in 2024.
At the ceremony, 100 typical products of cooperatives across the country were awarded the first Mai An Tiem Award; including 75 products in the food and beverage sector, 10 products from medicinal herbs and medicinal preparations, 13 handicraft and small-scale industrial products and 2 products in the tourism sector.

Among the 100 products honored and awarded the first Mai An Tiem Award in 2024, Bac Kan province was honored to have 2 award-winning products: Red sticky rice turmeric starch of Tan Thanh Agricultural Cooperative (Nong Thuong commune, Bac Kan city) and Rose tea of Hanh Phuc Tea Cooperative (Cao Ky commune, Cho Moi district).
The award aims to support and promote the collective economic sector and cooperatives to improve productivity, quality and competitiveness of products to meet the requirements of domestic and foreign markets, promote national identity, traditional values and spread in the community./.
