In addition, according to a survey at other trading locations in Hanoi, silver price increased slightly, currently listed at 936,000 VND/tael (buy) and 970,000 VND/tael (sell). In Ho Chi Minh City, silver price also recorded an increase at 938,000 VND/tael (buy) and 971,000 VND/tael (sell). World silver price also tends to increase, currently at 774,000 VND/ounce (buy) and 779,000 VND/ounce (sell).

Silver prices have rebounded on a technical rebound after being pressured by strong US inflation data. The US producer price index (PPI) rose 3.4% year-on-year in November, 0.2 percentage points higher than forecast. Compared to the previous month, PPI increased 0.4%, the highest level since June 2024, raising concerns about the possibility of inflation returning.
Investors remain cautious due to pressure from the US dollar and the monetary policy of the US Federal Reserve (FED), causing silver prices to fluctuate slightly but still lack the momentum to increase strongly.
