The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the draft resolution to be submitted to the 30th Session of the Provincial People's Council.

On the morning of April 26, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council met to review the draft resolution to be submitted to the 30th Session (special session) of the 17th term, 2021 - 2026. Attending were comrade Nong Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Ha Nhat Le, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities.

The Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council reviewed the draft resolution submitted to the 30th Session of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting reviewed the draft Resolution on allocating additional state budget capital in 2025 to implement the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province. Accordingly, the source of public funding to implement the program to allocate additional regular expenditure estimates of the state budget in 2025 to Cao Bang province is 450 billion 088 million VND, of which, the additional budget allocation for provincial departments, branches and sectors is 82 billion 673 million VND; the additional budget allocation for districts and cities is 367 billion 415 million VND.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on the following contents: basis for calculating the allocation rate; disbursement results for the 2022 - 2024 period, implementation rate of each component project to assess the implementation according to the target; arrangement of counterpart funds for development investment capital; adjustment of career capital for units; reasons why some units proposed to reduce the allocated capital for some projects...

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council accepted the content of the delegates' opinions and at the same time requested the drafting agency to coordinate with relevant agencies to urgently revise, supplement and complete the draft content to submit to the 30th Session (special topic) of the 17th term, 2021 - 2026, taking place on April 28, 2025.
