Recently, Mr. Thanouxay Banxalith - Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Attapeu province, along with leaders of provincial departments and agencies, visited and worked at the HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex.

Mr. Doan Ba ​​Phi - General Director of KLH - welcomed and introduced the formation and development of production and business activities of THACO AGRI and KLH HAGL AGRICO Laos.

During the meeting, Mr. Doan Ba ​​Phi reported on the location and land area of ​​the households within the project's planning zone, and proposed specific and long-term solutions to the Attapeu Provincial Leadership Board.

The delegation highly appreciated the scale, production capacity, and agricultural development strategy of THACO AGRI, especially its practical contributions to socio-economic development, caring for the lives of workers, and accompanying many social welfare programs in Attapeu province and Laos.

Overview of the working session

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Thanouxay Banxalith stated that this is a key agricultural project for Attapeu province in the coming period. He also shared that he will conduct surveys and inspections of the locations mentioned in the report and actively support the project in legal matters, land clearance and compensation, land conversion, and relocation of households.

It is expected that by the end of March, the HAGL AGRICO Laos Management Board will coordinate with the local district and village authorities to implement the proposed solutions in Sanamxay, Saysettha, Samxay, and Phouvong.

At the end of the working session, the delegation directly surveyed the areas within KLH's agricultural project in Saysettha district, such as Mango Farm 18, Mango Farm 15, etc.
