The 32nd SEA Games ended with the Vietnamese sports delegation taking first place with a total of 136 gold medals, 105 silver medals and 118 bronze medals.
With 108 gold, 96 silver and 108 bronze medals, Thailand ranked second in the medal table. Host Cambodia also had the most successful SEA Games in history, finishing fourth after winning 81 gold, 74 silver and 127 bronze medals. Indonesia ranked third after winning 87 gold, 80 silver and 109 bronze medals.
Vietnam ranked first in the number of gold medals in Olympic sports at the 32nd SEA Games.
In terms of Olympic events alone, the Vietnamese sports delegation still ranked first overall with 48 gold medals, 40 silver medals and 36 bronze medals. The Thai delegation had 38 gold medals, while Singapore jumped to third place, with only 2 gold medals less than the Thai delegation.
Singapore dominated swimming with 22 gold medals, helping the Lion Island sports team have the highest percentage of gold medals in Olympic sports, with 70.58%. Meanwhile, the percentage of the Vietnamese team is 35.29%, ranking 5th.
