Long Xuyen City Party Standing Committee visits and gives gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances

On the morning of May 29, a delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Xuyen City led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Long Xuyen City Party Committee Vo Thien Hao visited and presented gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances in My Quy, My Phuoc, My Thoi, and My Thanh wards. Vice Chairwoman of the Long Xuyen City People's Committee Vo Thi Xuan Kieu also attended.

At the places he visited, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Long Xuyen City Party Committee Vo Thien Hao kindly visited the health and lives of children in especially difficult circumstances, children with disabilities, etc., and encouraged their families to try to overcome difficulties and rise up in life. This demonstrated the concern of all levels and sectors for children in the city, especially children in difficult circumstances. Thereby, arousing the spirit, awareness and responsibility of the whole society for caring for and looking after children.

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, Standing Deputy Secretary of Long Xuyen City Party Committee Vo Thien Hao and Vice Chairman of Long Xuyen City People's Committee Vo Thi Xuan Kieu presented each child with a gift and cash worth VND500,000 and received gifts from localities. The whole city had 420 children in difficult circumstances visited and given gifts (of which, 12 cases with especially difficult circumstances were visited and given gifts by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee).
