At 8:00 a.m. on November 6, the eye of the storm was at about 13.2 degrees North latitude; 112.3 degrees East longitude, about 310 km East Southeast of Quy Nhon. The strongest wind near the eye of the storm was level 14 (150–166 km/h), gusting to level 17; moving in the West Northwest direction at a speed of about 30 km/h.

At 7:00 p.m. on November 6, the storm was at about 14.0 degrees North latitude; 109.4 degrees East longitude, on the coastal area of Quang Ngai - Dak Lak , with strong winds of level 13-14, gusts of level 17, and a level 4 natural disaster risk in the central East Sea, the sea area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak (including Ly Son special zone), and the eastern mainland from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai.

The western part of the Central East Sea, the sea area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak (including Ly Son special zone); the eastern mainland area from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai has a natural disaster risk level 4.

The sea area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City (including Cu Lao Cham Island) and Khanh Hoa; the mainland from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City, the East of Dak Lak Province and the North of Khanh Hoa Province have a level 3 natural disaster risk level.

It is forecasted that by 7:00 a.m. on November 7, the storm will move in a West-Northwest direction, enter the mainland and weaken into a tropical depression in the Southern Laos area, with wind speed decreasing to level 7, gusting to level 9. The sea area from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak (including Ly Son special zone); the mainland east of the area from Quang Ngai to Gia Lai has a level 4 natural disaster risk level.

The sea area from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City (including Cu Lao Cham Island) and Khanh Hoa; mainland from South Quang Tri to Da Nang City, the west of Quang Ngai and Gia Lai provinces, the east of Dak Lak province and the north of Khanh Hoa province have a level 3 natural disaster risk level.

At 7:00 p.m. the same day, the tropical depression in the eastern region of Thailand moved inland, weakening into a low pressure area with winds below level 6.

Warning of strong winds, high waves and rising water: In the East Sea, the central East Sea has strong winds of level 8-11, near the storm center strong winds of level 12-14, gusts of level 17, waves 5-7 m high, near the storm center 8-10 m high, rough seas. The sea area from South Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa (including Ly Son special zone, Cu Lao Cham island) has winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-11, waves 3-6 m high; near the storm center strong winds of level 12-14, gusts of level 17, waves 7-9 m high.

Coastal areas from South Quang Tri to Dak Lak are likely to experience storm surges of 0.4 - 0.8 m, with the risk of flooding low-lying areas, waves overtopping dikes, coastal erosion, and slowing down flood drainage. All boats and aquaculture areas in the danger zone are strongly affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and high waves. On land: From the afternoon of November 6, the area from South Da Nang to Dak Lak will experience winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, then increasing to level 8-9; the area near the storm's center will experience strong winds of level 10-12 (focusing on the East of Quang Ngai - Gia Lai), gusting to level 14-15. From November 6 to 7, the area from Da Nang to Dak Lak will have very heavy rain, with average rainfall of 200-400 mm, locally over 600 mm; the area from South Quang Tri to Hue, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong will have rain of 150-300 mm, with some places over 450 mm. From November 7 to 8, the rain will spread to North Quang Tri to Thanh Hoa, with average rainfall of 50-150 mm, with some places over 200 mm.

The center warns of a high risk of heavy rains of over 200 mm/3 hours, tornadoes and strong gusts of wind before and during the storm's landfall.
