Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television awarded "Support to go to school" scholarships

Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khoi, Director of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (BIDV) - Hau Giang Branch; and local leaders attended.

Mr. Nguyen Van Trieu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television, presented scholarships to students.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 30 scholarships to students from near-poor households, households with difficult circumstances, and students who have overcome difficulties and are studying at schools in Thoi Hung commune. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND, sponsored by the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ) - Hau Giang Branch.

Ms. Le Thi Thuy Hang, Secretary of the Thoi Hung Commune Party Committee, on behalf of the locality, presented a letter of thanks and flowers to the sponsor.

Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television would like to thank the sponsors and hope to continue receiving the support of sponsors and benefactors so that this meaningful program can be expanded.

"Helping to go to school" is one of the social security activities under the model of skillful mass mobilization of Can Tho Newspaper (old), now Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television, to help studious students have more conditions to strive and go to school firmly. Over the past years, Can Tho Newspaper, Radio and Television has coordinated with many units, businesses and philanthropists to organize the program "Helping to go to school" in many localities, with over 1,200 scholarships and 400 bicycles for students who overcome difficulties and are studious.
