Fati is on Barcelona's transfer list. |
One of the first and most profitable deals for Barcelona was the sale of Alex Valle to Como. The Camp Nou team earned 6 million euros in transfer fees from this deal.
Two other deals have also indirectly helped Barcelona earn more money. The first is the case of centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo. Last summer, Todibo left Nice to join West Ham on loan, with an option to buy this transfer window.
The Premier League club will pay €39m to buy the centre-back outright. Barcelona have a 20% clause in the deal, earning them €7.8m.
The same is true of striker Alex Collado (to Al-Kholood). The Qatari club agreed to pay 2.5 million euros to own this 26-year-old player from Real Betis. Barcelona is expected to receive 500,000 euros thanks to the clause to receive 20% of the transfer fee if Collado moves to a third club.
On June 4, Barcelona also decided to let Ansu Fati join Monaco on a one-year loan deal, with a buyout clause of 12 million euros. Fati is currently on summer vacation but had previously reached a personal agreement with Monaco.
In the opposite direction, Barcelona reached an agreement to recruit goalkeeper Joan García from Espanyol for 25 million euros. The team is also considering recruiting Marcus Rashford or Luis Diaz as a backup winger for Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
