8-year-old girl buried by landslide in Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat is out of critical condition

On the morning of November 20, Director of Lam Dong General Hospital Nguyen Xuan Tao said that as soon as the girl buried by the landslide was admitted, the hospital activated the emergency rescue procedure and organized a hospital-wide consultation under the direct direction of the Department of Health and the hospital's Board of Directors.

Doctors at Lam Dong Provincial General Hospital performed surgery to treat the victim's thigh wound.

The medical team quickly performed surgery to treat the thigh wound, remove the foreign object, suture the torn muscle and control related injuries. Thanks to timely intervention, the patient's health has stabilized.

Previously, on the evening of November 19, Lam Dong General Hospital received patient TTD (female, born in 2018, residing in Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat) in a state of multiple injuries after being buried by a landslide. The authorities quickly arrived at the scene and promptly rescued the child before transferring her to the hospital.

The patient continues to be monitored and cared for at Lam Dong Provincial General Hospital.

Currently, the patient is awake, responsive and is being monitored and cared for by doctors at the hospital.
